Dr Emma Palmer discusses how to decipher your genetic reports – what should be included and what does it mean?

Dr Emma Palmer is a Paediatrician and Clinical Geneticist (Sydney Children’s Hospital and Genetics of Learning Disability Services),  Lecturer in the School of Women’s and Children’s Health, University of New South Wales, and mother. Her research passions are how to improve the diagnosis, health outcomes and quality of life for children and adults affected by rare genetic disorders, with a particular focus on neurogenetic conditions including early onset epilepsy, and how to understand and meet their and their families information and support needs.
